A clash of colours
A clash of colours, red lips in the shadow. Lost in your mind, you walk past the familiar buildings, your dreams floating above like a balloon in the sky.
This series is a collection of images from several places, including NYC, Chicago, Istanbul, Berlin, Crete and North Morocco. Street photography has never been about documenting life as it is for me, but about capturing the ephemeral beauty inhabiting people and their cities. I have kept mementos from these travels as a way to remember that beauty is everywhere we look, everywhere we walk. No matter where we go, light and colours can become a canvas for storytelling, elevating the everyday into visual poetry, across places, people and cultures.
