women
In this series, my subjects - all women - are only fleetingly present, passing by without ever owning the space around them. Almost haunting, these images evoke the world of dreams, of quiet fantasy, away from the physical, three-dimensional reality of these women. When I look at these images, I see a canvas for my own dreams, feelings, memories. My subjects become a mirror into my psyche. They are made of dust, of desires, of possibilities.
The women (and girls) in these photographs only exist in my imagination. They represent a state of mind, a dream, an emotion emerging from the deepest parts of my mind, living on the edge of my consciousness. When I chase these moments, it’s as if a force within me takes over, a force able to see beyond my eyes, deep into myself.
