Where you end, is where I begin
The women (and girls) in these photographs only exist in my imagination. They represent a state of mind, a dream, an emotion emerging from the deepest parts of my mind, living on the edge of my consciousness. When I chase these moments, it’s as if a force within me takes over, a force able to see beyond my eyes, deep into myself. In this sense, my subjects are projections of my feminine side, but also reveal deeper parts of my identity.
In this series, my subjects are only fleetingly present, passing by without ever owning the space around them. Almost haunting, these images evoke the world of dreams, of quiet fantasy, away from the physical, three-dimensional reality of these women. When I look at these images, I see a canvas for my own dreams, feelings, memories. My subjects become a mirror into my psyche. They are made of dust, of desires, of possibilities.
